Consideration for the USM STEM Scholars Program is based in part on academic performance. The ideal candidate would have a suggested cumulative high school GPA of at least a 3.0 and a minimum math ACT score of 25.
Please note: USM STEM Scholarship recipients must live on campus.
The USM STEM Scholarship is awarded to students in part based on their demonstrated financial need. In order to qualify for the USM STEM Scholarship you must fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which can be completed online at
https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa
You will also need to have your FAFSA results sent to USM. The university’s FAFSA code is 001943.
